  • I had the facial/massage combo. The facial was really good; the girl was professional, well-dressed, and knowledgeable. Her table was a tiny bit lopsided and not incredibly comfortable, but that is my only complaint. I wish I could remember her name and would give her four stars. The massage, on the other hand, was the worst I've ever had. It started with me telling her how grossed out I was about the towel she asked me to put my freshly cleaned face into; even in the very dimly lit room, I could see it had someone's mascara on it (it was also covered with what looked like a surgical hair cap/net?). She brought in another white towel with stains on it and that should have been my indication to bolt out of there, but my friend who bought my package was next door getting her facial, so I felt guilty for complaining and worried about her trying to get a refund. I regret it now. The lady then proceeded to rub two hot stones up and down my back about 4-5 times and then cast them aside. She massaged my neck and shoulders a little better than my boyfriend does, but it seemed very apparent that she lacks formal training. I think this lasted about 20 minutes before I was asked to turn onto my back so she could rub my arms for a bit. She began to massage my scalp which felt good for 5 minutes, but at the 10 minute mark, I was feeling even more regret that I didn't walk out earlier. 15 minutes into the scalp massage, I told her this was not cutting it and wanted her to stop. She replied with "you asked for upper body only" which is correct because my neck and shoulders were tense. Again, a properly trained massage therapist would know how to distribute time spent on parts of the body according to the clients needs/wishes. She left the room for me to get dressed and a deeper disappointment set in. I turned on the lights and began inspecting the room closely only to realize that I had been laying on a partially exposed piece of that egg crate material some people put over a mattress. I was so disgusted I quickly dressed and went to the front to leave money for the facial portion of the treatment. I clearly told the receptionist how disappointed and grossed out I was with the massage and needed to go home and shower immediately. I never received a follow-up call, customer service is definitely not their thing. That egg crate part of the experience deserves a call to the county health department. So gross. Don't go here!
