  • This is arguably the worst gay bar I've ever been too. So much so that it makes Club Cafe in Boston or the paradise in Cambridge heavenly places (those two are the worst gay bars I've been to- until I remembered plan B). Bad service. Slow, bad, rude and high handed bartenders (not to sound like comparative but club cafe actually has very nice bartenders), the kind of men that come here aren't the best either. All of them are pseudo-liberal but force expectations to confirming to gender and racial stereotypes. Drinks aren't strong and I don't like it they charge a cover at times. If you want to meet good gay men in Madison, there are other gay bars and places I would recommend.
