  • So, I was in Phoenix for Spring Training. I thought this was a place I had to try. I went with a party of nine and was pretty optimistic going into dinner. Everyone in the party said that they dug the atmosphere -- sports bar-style large brick building with huge screens playing three different games -- but the food ... meh. I had "Ricky's" Cuban. This pork-on-pork hot sandwich lacked anything special. I got excited about getting two sides, but when I saw the cole slaw I was disappointed to see it was obviously pre-prepared and served in a disposable paper cup. This place does shine when it comes to the beer list. Some really unique and delicious beers on tap. Glad I went, but don't think I'll be back. *Two weeks later* OK, I changed my mind. I would go back. Only to try the 2-foot hot dog. Just to say I ate it.
