The ice cream here is pure gold. They always try new flavors and the experiments are pretty awesome. Stuff like "Kahlua-cream" is something you won't find anywhere else and it'll keep you returning to this one-of-a-kind establishment.
This store is also totally a plus for everything along the alley cuz it draws customers with the wonderful smell of the fresh cones they're always making. Dave & Andy's is one of the best ice cream stores I've ever been to and while the inside of the store is uninviting for seating, there's really no reason to be sitting inside. If it's nice enough to get D&A's, it's nice enough to be gallivanting outdoors.
Last time I was here, I got a Kahlua and Cream ice cream float with root beer, and while that tasted really good, it was a little messy to carry around. I would've preferred it if they created the whole float instead of provide the bottle to pour into the float yourself. Still, taste is vital, and Dave and Andy's has it down.
