rev:text	The ACADEMY is something to marvel at. 5 stars for the virtual gun range and simulations. The results can be emailed. The landscape and scenarios are plentiful. The instructor/proctor is nice enough - he explained the reason he has to be present in the 180degree, 360degree virtual rooms. The goal: to have people take these scenarios seriously. My 3rd run through ... I got shot in the back trying to read the Spanish at the Corner Market. I will say... they do play up the stereotypes when running the Corner Store Robbery, Parking Lot, adn 2 other scenes. The live range is visible from the seated area. Cute instructor/guidance dude. Ear & eye protection available. OH! TUESDAYS ARE THE DISCOUNT DAYS. LIKE HAPPY HOUR PRICING ON THE RANGE. The virtual is nothing like a video game. It's a true 9mm GLOCC with a infrared red lighting and smoke cartridge. The kick back is authentic and officially makes me want a 9mm. You must check your weapon at the door upon entry. They have several SMART safety mechanisms in place to keep some doufus from running rampant and gunning everybody down. I LOVE IT!!! It's actually in DeForest but it's right off Stoughton Rd and only 8minutes from downtown Madison with traffic and hitting every light. The chairs in the waiting/lunge area are smart and plush. Nice brown leather designs and coordinating color scheme throughout the academy tells me this is a good place to just hang and relax for the day. The usual Target options are available on the LIVE RANGE. But you must try the VIRTUAL range game that you have to shot the "dangerous" person/s. The ladeis with the babies will pop up out of nowhere so shoot the right people. Again, I'm a fan.
