  • This motel was perfectly located for our needs; just off the freeway and less than five miles to all three of the places we needed to get to during our stay. Most importantly, they welcome dogs. I paid $76 plus and extra 20 for the pooch. They have a dog walking area. The price is high for the quality of accommodations but location, location, location. The room was ok, clean but kind of worn. When I went to wash my makeup off, the wash cloth literally fell apart in my hands. Like, I started with one wash cloth and finished with two. I was actually kind of glad of this as it demonstrated that bleach had been used liberally in the wash. There was soap, shampoo & conditioner and a hair dryer. The room also featured a refrigerator and a microwave, which was nice. The mid-week clientele seemed to be mostly truckers. Being mid-week it was not noisy at all, but one or more jerks were smoking in rooms on the main hall, in spite of every single door bearing a no smoking sign. The free breakfast was minimal except for the waffle maker. The place shares a parking lot with a Waffle House, but free is nice I guess. Finally, the pool was closed, which ticked me off. At this price for this level of room they could have at least had the pool open.
