| - Where do I start........ This company will call you and inform that they are with your insurance company and received a copy of your accident report, then offer to pick up your vehicle and meet with the adjuster.
Being that you are already under extreme pressure with being in an accident, these people are taking advantage or unknowing victims.
To continue, they come to your job, have you sign papers, then say they will return with a rental. Here's when the problems start: They called and said you cant get a rental, and the guy "Tony" offered to pick me up from work and work out the additional details, "1st red flag", I then decided to contact my insurance company and ask them about this business, they informed for me to get my vehicle back asap. I then immediately called Tony to see if he could drop my car back off here, he stated its 4pm and the owner of the company has locked the gate, and I cannot get my vehicle until tomorrow, he stated the bumper was off, I stated no work should be done to my vehicle until I get an estimate, so then he changed his story and said no one was there. He then arrived at my job, I informed again to take me to my vehicle now, he said he couldn't or he would get in trouble with management......... WHAT TYPE OF SENSE DOES THIS MAKE. I informed him to call his manager, he said he couldn't. I then proceeded to tell him if he didn't take me to my vehicle, then I would call the police, he jumped out his car and slammed the door, remind u, this is all occurring at my place of work. I'm on the phone with the police and he jumps back in the car and say" come on b****, ill take you to your car." Of course I jump out of the car, fearing for my life. To make a long story short, I went to the business to look for my car, the business is not closed and it is a Junk Yard. I searched around until I found somone who worked there and told him everything, I once again mentioned calling the police, he found my keys and gave me my car back.
This was one of the most horrendous experiences of my life.
To anyone reading this: Please do not fall into the same trap I did.
