I'm local & stayed here for the night while the A/C in my home was repaired. The room was decent- 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor-nothing to brag about. The next morning I woke up-got out of the bed and noticed that there was a bug in the bed with me. I called the front desk and spoke with the assistant manager. She advised me that people bring bugs in from the outside all the time, and that the gentleman that maintains the hotel can come to the room and spray for bugs after he comes back from driving the shuttle. Needless to say- I wasn't thrilled with the response. She asked what kind of bug- I went to the front desk to show her. She said: "Well it's not a bed bug". As if that somehow made it less of an issue. She offered me 40% off of my next stay( As If). I went back to the room to gather my things and check out. When I went to do so- another guest was complaining about her shower not working. As I waited for her to be done and check out- the GM offered her 50% off of her current stay. When it was my turn- I asked why I was offered a discount on a future stay when they clearly they have the option to offer the same day discount? Miguel the manager was very aggressive in answering me- stating that he didn't speak with me and I would need to speak with the manager I spoke with initially- RUDE. Needless to say- I didn't appreciate the way the situation was handled. I paid $70 for a Sunday night. It was close to my home. I would not recommend this location, if it's in your budget to go elsewhere, do so.
