I'd heard good things about this place from others around the neighbourhood, so I stopped in on a weekday afternoon to see what the buzz was about. I managed to resist the delicious-looking baked goods and ordered a latte ($4.25), and had to claim one of the only free chairs before I was left standing.
The space was pretty small, but that's typical of Toronto cafes. The decor was simple yet cute, and the seating and tables were very minimalist metal/wood. I'm a much bigger fan of a warm, comfy ambiance, so this wasn't to my personal taste but based on how busy it was, it is clearly working for them.
My latte was amazing - one of the best I've ever had. When I don't need to add any sugar, I know it's good! Even with how great my latte was, I found the prices a little steep and the ambiance not to my personal liking, so I think my return visits will be somewhat infrequent.
