  • I prefer this one over the one in Oakland because A) it's bigger and B) parking is actually a viable option here. I enjoy the atmosphere it's not as college like but it's the same quality food and large margaritas. At first I thought it was weird going to a Mexican restaurant for wings but omg they're so delicious that I've just accepted it. Usually I'm a little boujee and try to go for boneless wings but I wouldn't recommend it. Get messy and eat the ones with the bone in. I haven't found a sauce at Mad Mex that I didn't like. Also their big margaritas are amazing. I also recommend the shrimp burritos and their French fries. I could inhale their French fries. Also let's talk about the service. The people here are always so hospitable and I appreciate they at least pretend to like their jobs. I'm glad a Mad Mex isn't that close to me as I would hang out here all the time and my waist doesn't need that.
