We arrived about 1 on a Saturday. It was really busy as expected. 20 minute wait, but then we were seated in a nice booth. Our server was great. She offered suggestions and didn't seem rushed.
I had biscuits and gravy and two eggs. Potatoes on the side. My wife had oatmeal, a muffin and fresh fruit. The biscuits were particularly good. The gravy had some green pepper in it. Not my favorite. And the potatoes were overseasoned with something like a cajun spice. Gut buster for me.
Overall, a really good lunch, fine service. We'll return.
Oh yeah, dessert. I had a hard time deciding between the strawberry rhubarb pie and the carrot cake. The server assured me the carrot cake was fresh baked, not a frozen somewhere else dish. I took it to go.
Good choice. Moist, full flavor. Next time...the pie!
