rev:text	I'd like to give this a 4.5 but since Yelp forces me to choose, I am going to have to round down simply because there were a few small things I would critique and for the usual price of a meal here, even small critiques matter a lot. We had a restaurant.com gift certificate which they accepted with no fuss, and so I feel we got an excellent value for our money, but since the average person is probably paying menu price, I am proceeding with that as my standard. We opted to stay with the small plates so as to maximize the number of things we got to try. The small plates menu is divided by region and we sampled the ahi tuna tacos, the tarte flambe (twice, it was by far our favorite), vegetable tempura, and one or two other items that I can't remember. The tempura was the most disappointing, as it did not match the menu description and was no better than you'd find in an average Japanese restaurant. Our cocktails were excellent from the blood orange margarita to the fleurtini, both light and refreshing but still immensely satisfying and certainly not lacking in liquor! Service was fairly formal which fits with the tenor of the restaurant, but doesn't leave me with much to say other than it was fine. I would be happy to come back, especially if I were in the Mandalay Bay area, but I think I would do so for lunch and not dinner unless I were able to get my hands on another good discount coupon or voucher.
