  • Disclaimer: This review is for the hotel only. I don't know why... but I've always wanted to stay at Caesars Palace. Maybe bc of The Hangover? I don't know.... but what a disappointment. We checked in via a kiosk in the main lobby. THAT was a plus since the line to check in was somewhat long. Why people don't use the kiosks boggles my mind bc it was a pretty quick check in & we were even able to get our room key. We were also offered an upgrade to a deluxe suite which we took advantage of. Check in... Caesars Palace gets 5 stars So we get to the room... Was I expecting The Hangover Suite? Umm no bc I'm not a movie star... but I did expect to be wowed! But sadly, no WOW moment for me. It was more of an Eh moment. Nothing special... just a regular ole hotel room. So I start to explore the room. Ooo... there's a mini bar! But umm... it's not stocked like it should be for new guests. My husband takes a Pepsi from the fridge & drinks it. He looks at the "use by" date on the bottle & it said December 2017. He takes out the 2nd Pepsi & the "use by" date is also expired. So we call the front desk & they come up & refill the fridge & the rest of the mini bar. While he's refilling the fridge, he removes & replaces the Coors Light bc the "use by" date has also passed. Wowzers Let's talk about the mini bar a little bit more. I've stayed at plenty hotels... If the room offers a Keurig or a little coffee maker, it's free! But here at Caesars Palace... you have to pay $4 for a "Coffee Kit". Room... Caesars Palace gets 1 star. Ok... one last thing. We asked for extra towels & one of the towels had makeup stains!!!! I mean... I get it. It's hard to remove makeup stains. I keep my makeup stained towels bc I put those stains there & I'm not gonna replace towels every time I can't get my makeup stains off. But would I offer them to house guests? Hell no!!! That's just nasty! AND.... I didn't notice them until I had wrapped the thing around my clean body!!!!! Totally unacceptable for such an establishment! Check out was just as easy as check in. Checked out via text which was a plus. Totally disappointed with Caesars Palace. Will not be staying here again. Overall... 1 star bc of the check in/our process.
