  • Current resident and I'm really unhappy with how they've dealt with parking and other concerns. We moved in July right when they changed management owners, and it's been horrible ever since. Rent has increased each month due to suspicious "water increases" from previous months that they "missed charging us for". We've explained we are on a fixed income numerous times bc my husband is in medical school, and our rent is always so different each month ($60 higher from our lease one time) that it's hard to budget. Parking is a whole other huge problem. This last week it rained and the whole row of parking spots were flooded, and if I were to try to park in my spot it would flood my car out. I asked them when they were going to drain it, or if could change spots, and all I got was "we are working on it...." Asked again yesterday and same thing, "it will get taken care of." Well a week has gone by and they literally just waited for the flooded water to evaporate. Parking is already an issue, let alone flooding out a big chunk of the spots! Just frustrated at the lack of concern over residents' concerns & safety. I add safety bc since I couldn't park in my spot the other night, I had to park in the very back of the complex where a police helicopter proceeded to spot light me during my long walk back to my apartment. That feels safe. Just be warned that if you live here, your concerns won't be a priority, and your rent will increase monthly. It's unfortunate that we are having issues as this is the first place my new husband and I have rented together, and we love the layout/look of our apartment. It's disappointing to us to have these issues bc we would love to renew our lease, but right now I'd rather take our money elsewhere.
