  • I went in to get my tire repaired under warranty. Sales person Jason Colvin #85 told me that I had two patches on this tire and they do not do patch the same tire 3 times. His exact words were "tires only have 3 lives". He told me I would have to buy a new tire and although I did not need a second tire he would do two for $180.40. I did this and when I asked for a print out of the warranty on my original tire he said he hesitated to provide one . When I got home I looked at the paper work and saw he warrantied the perfectly good tire and that is what I paid for. I did not make the decision to buy a new tire, he forced me to and then warrantied the good tire on paper. Poor business for the consumer and his supplier. The only one who profited was Discount Tire. On the sales receipt is stated because I only bought 2 tires they would put them on the back for best safety and handling. THEY DID NOT EVEN DO THAT! Beware of this store and sales staff, customers trust what they say and when asked for repair history they are hesitant to provide it. I work in customer service for an international fortune 100 company and this "bait and switch" mentality would not be tolerated.......
