  • I loved Freedom Park! It has a nice paved trail, a tiny museum, and a huuuuugeeeee space to relax outdoors. We enjoyed a relaxing stroll while visiting from Raleigh. I loved how big the park was, and there really is something for everyone. My favorite is the large grassy area with the benches. It is also really well maintained, and there is a river that runs through it. There are covered picnic benches and we saw a little girl having her bday party. If I lived in Charlotte, I would be at Freedom Park all the time!
