| - Come on, let's be honest here, we FINALLY have our Charlotte Knights in UPTOWN! No more driving to South Carolina...YAY! FIVE STARS just for the view. They have actually don't a great job with this stadium, the vendor choices and the location. Parking in the deck across the street is $5 for game nights (between the panther's stadium and the knight's stadium).
The stadium has one of the best, uninterrupted views of Uptown. We happened to attend on the evening of the first proposal at the stadium, the largest crowd (since it opened 3 weeks before) and on Thirsty Thursday.
So, I like craft beer, so it was awesome to see so many local brew stations. Thirsty Thursday is $3 domestics.
The food options are fantastic...aside from the ballgame favorites - peanuts and hotdogs - you have bbq from Q, nachos from Salsaritas, fancy hotdogs (loved the "Our Major League" with jalapeƱos, pickle spear, onions), pretzels, chick-fil-a and so much more that I can't remember.
There isn't a bad seat in the stadium, just go and enjoy a game and the typical overpriced food/drinks. They have a kid's play area, a standing room only ticket area, club area that were rocking the night we went.
Go, enjoy a baseball game IN UPTOWN (FINALLY!), enjoy the view and some great time with your Charlotte family.
PLAY BALL!
