  • We have been without consistant hot water since the beginning of September. I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come out and he said we needed a new unit. He called and got approval from my home warranty company to replace it, a few days later another tech comes out (I thought to replace the unit) and says we burnt an element and he'll have to order the part. Several weeks later, its "replaced." Later that day, still no hot water. I get run around by the plumbing company and finally talk to the home warranty people who set up another call. Tech comes, burnt element, has to order parts. Comes to replace, TWO burnt elements. Call home warranty, express my frustartions. Manager says shes sending out new company to replace unit. New company comes out, says he needs to come back because hes not prepared for the visit. Comes back a week later. Says my unit is working close to specs (luke warm water after 30 minutes of running my water?) and no replacement. Fast forward a couple weeks, and now my unit is shot. I have been without hot water since monday. I have had water bills double the norm. I have missed work to be here for 10 appointments in 3 months. This is unaccaptable. Plus, they're sending out companies whose techs arent qualified to work on tankless!! Plus, due to the malfunction of that, I had to replace my washer and dryer which they're also refusing to cover.
