First time I've been disappointed in our Worldmark resorts! Over 14 years using them numerous times a year.
The carpet in our suite was awful. Patches of ?. Kitchen floor felt like salt or sand was everywhere. My feet were black from walking from my bedroom to kitchen and back. Had to rinse the filth off in the tub. Not kidding.
When booking our room we wanted 3 rooms to fit our family wasn't available so we asked specifically for a 2 bedroom with a murphy bed before we booked. Came in around 7pm off a 12 hour road trip with a 2 year old.
Went to eat upon return found we got a very used (complete with yellow stains) roll out couch... Beat up! Went to put on the floor because mattress was too thin/used and frame was bent. That's when we really saw how gross the "thin mattress" was and how filthy the carpet was.
Soooooooo embarrassing for us! This was the first trip with our new daughter in law and granddaughter. And she didn't fill comfortable with the baby being on the floor me either. Called front desk to see if we could be moved even though it would be a hassle with a sleeping baby, all of us exhausted and unpacked. They had given all the rooms with murphy beds away.
Their solution... Move us to a newer room with a roll out couch or bring a second roll out mattress to make it bearable. It was soiled as well!!!
Do appreciate that they have roaming security.
