| - Went here, because I forgot to make an early appointment for a haircut at my usual place. Been here 2 times before, for the same reason & they did a decent job.
This time they ruined my hair. It looks like I have a birds nest balancing on my head.
I Was there on Saturday morning & the stylist was friendly & nice. I had Showered already & my hair was wet. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done & also explained what I needed. She went on cutting & as they charge another fee for a blow dry, I didn't get it done & I had to shower again anyway as they don't even bother to Brush off the hair that's all over you after your haircut. Maybe that's too much work for them.
After I washed & Blow dried my hair, it looked like it hadn't been cut at all. Pieces hanging out of everyplace. They said they layered it, if they did, It was the worst layers ever.
I went back in the evening, & a lady who said she was the manager, said she can fix it & went on Snipping at my hair. She just took a handful of hair off the top & went snip, snip, snip. I asked her to thin my hair at the bottom, so that it has some fullness & the ends turn out. She said she will do it, but never did it. I was uncomfortable telling her to do something so many times. I am no Hair stylist, but I knew, something was not right, the way she went on cutting.
Back again I had to come home & shower again. My 3rd Shower for the Day. Dried my hair, only to find, the top of my head, my hair was not even 3 inches long. I couldn't even get it on the brush to dry. The other layer is cut so short, that there is a wave right in the middle of my head, looking like my hair is split in 2 with a birds nest at the top. When I wake up in the morning, I look like "Tina Turner," Lol. All my hair is sticking out the top. Let me say I have very thick hair & short hair only gives it more static & spikes it making it look like the Smurfs.
I called them & the lady says, we will refund the money. Lol. I said I didn't want the money, I want my hair. What can money do? Buy hair? This is hair we are talking about, which (If I am Lucky) will take 3 weeks to grow at least to a decent length. This is not a dress that doesn't fit & the refund can buy me another dress.
I went back again on Monday, as the Manager Hilary said there was a good person who can fix it. That was Shane. He took one look & said, Oh yes, it's way too short & there's not much he could do. I totally Agree. What can he do to clean up another persons mess? he did try, but finally gave up.
I am now left with this horrible looking haircut & wear a cap most of the time. I had to go buy Gel & Mousse & products I didn't own before, just to keep the Bounce down on the top of my head. If not I look like a hot air balloon about to take off. Lol.
I guess, you get what you pay for. Just horrible. The worst is, that they don't even care. It's like something that happens every day & they have got so used to living with it. But then again, why would they care. It's my hair, not theirs & there is nothing anyone can do to fix it now. It's ruined & I have a function to be at this Sunday, which I might not go to. A bad hair day, gives you a bad mood, A bad couple of hair Days, drives you nuts. That's for sure.
