| - This review is strictly for their cafeteria.
Why would someone write a review for a hospital cafeteria? you ask. Well, yesterday afternoon I had a physical therapy appointment in the building next door to the hospital, and my boyfriend was going to meet up with me. We were both going to be there an hour early and we both happened to be hungry. Remembering that they had good food in their cafeteria from when I had my surgery last month, my boyfriend suggested we kill some time there.
We headed over and while the rest of the hospital (from everything that I've seen) is still really nice, the cafeteria was just a plain ol'.. well, cafeteria. The person who was supposed to be doing the grill was sitting down eating and the cashier was talking to someone else (it looked like another employee). We waited for about five minutes before anyone even took notice that we were standing directly infront of the grill area waiting. Then, another five minutes later the guy finally comes over, asks what we want and then goes, "That's it?!" He put it all together and it took less than five minutes.
One grilled chicken sandwich and fries, chicken tenders with fries, and we were ready to pay. The cashier was a lot friendlier than the guy doing the cooking. We went and sat down, which by this point was starting to have a trickling in of employees and patient's family members. We ate our food which for hospital fare, was quite good and then we rushed over to my appointment.
Next time, I'll suggest we go to an actual restaurant instead, but
