I had a good experience there with a salesman named Johnathon Dudkowski and I'm not writing this because they pressured me or "bought" my review with a free oil change or something stupid. Really no pressure and they know their product. Sales people seem straight forward and honest, not cheesy and suspicious like other dealers. The finance guy was also straightforward and not pushy. When I declined the extended warranty, it was like "Ok", not "let me tell you all the things that could go wrong and why you'd better buy it. No extra salesperson trying to sell me added extras like bumper guards or something stupid like that which could add hundreds if not thousands more.
Of all the times I've bought a car at a dealer, I wish they would have been as pleasant an experience as purchasing from VW of South Charlotte. The reason why I went there in the first place, having already made my mind up on a VW diesel, is that I went to visit them before with another used Passat I had and the service manager really impressed me. A long time employed master certified mechanic helped me out and talked straight without the BS. I figured if he could shoot straight, maybe the place was run fairly professionally and that Sales might be at the same level. They were and I'm satisfied. Also, love the car, Jetta Sportswagon TDI.
