As with all the El Toro's the service is almost always excellent and it's always clean. After Martin left this one, the biggest change here is the food. It's quite often bland and over cooked and lacking any sort of kick. The salsa is frequently nothing more than canned tomatoes with barely added cilantro and onions. It's almost like they took all the "Mexican" out of the food. I frequently order Fajita Quesadilla Chicken and I swear the chicken isn't seasoned or if it is, it's drowning in grease. I had a hard time writing this review as we have been frequenting these El Toros since the beginning and really like the people who work here. I've always wished they would all do more "from scratch" cooking. I'm still grateful to have this option here in St. Joe.
