Looked like a great clean little place that have to pass on my way home every day.
Was i wrong.
Completely RUINED a $400 silk blouse from Elie Tahari. It was a lovely bright coral pink when I took it in, worn once or twice, no stains, no sweat, nothing. When i picked it up a few days later, my gorgeous blouse was grey. Like GREY. Completely different color. Wouldn't have recognized it.
The lady had the nerve to charge me anyway and get mad. She said if I didn't pay for it, she would keep the rest of my clothes. She said it was a dye problem from the manufacturer and not her problem, forget the fact that I've been buying silks from Elie Tahari for years and have never had any trouble with dry cleaners.
The blouse was so expensive that I can't bear to throw it out. Now it hangs in my closet as a reminder to never bring anything to this shoddy place again, no matter how convenient.
Furious.
