  • I'm not really a fan of Best Buy in general, but I figured I'd come here to get an HDMI cable. Big mistake. They ended up being out of the one I wanted that I was looking at online, so I headed toward the exit to leave. An employee stopped me and told me that I can't go, I was apparently going out the wrong door when there was only one exit. The employee thought I was trying to steal something because of my behavior. It's important to note that I have autism and severe anxiety. I was most likely anxious because of the people in the store and being confronted like that. I was definitely not stealing anything! I was asked if I needed help and told him no, the store didn't have what I needed. I was finally able to leave and headed to Walmart where I found what I needed much cheaper, and nobody bothered me.
