  • I had a bizarre experience. Took car in for a safety and the rep called me back quoting every item in thousands of dollars (EG wiper refill was $2400 instead of $24)....like it was a joke. Then I'm quoted around $1000 for required repairs to pass safety. Then I call back for the final tally and it's $1600 including taxes. So I pull the car out and pay $100 for a safety elsewhere....guess what? No repairs necessary.
