| - Baggage Claim. Was arriving from Denver through Frontier. Because Frontier charges more to carry a bag on than to check it and get it in baggage claim, I was coerced into checking my small bag. Upon arriving at Cleveland around 1AM, I couldn't find the baggage claim number where my bag was. This is because I was the first person off the plane and/or was sleeping when they announced the baggage number. I incorrectly assumed the baggage terminal number would be posted on a screen near the baggage terminal.
There were no screens showing an arriving time of that Frontier flight corresponding with it's baggage terminal number. So, being the stubborn person that I am, I walked the length of the baggage terminal (several times) trying to find a group of people on my flight since there were almost no knowledgeable employees to ask. After waiting to ask an employee for 10 minutes, who was talking to a customer, I finally found out where my bag was. He noted how it was difficult since there were no screens matching incoming flights with specific baggage terminals, and because they didn't have the Frontier Flight from Denver posted at all on the board of the actual separate terminals. Why not?
Adam S. noted "It wasn't even listed on the monitor. Really? Would it be that big of a challenge to update the monitor so it said "Frontier 1119, Raleigh"? Apparently so." HOWEVER, unlike Adam S., I didn't get a sign at all!!!
.
This whole unnecessary process took me at least an additional 25 minutes.
Also, upon arriving at the airport, I took a wrong turn and was coerced into paying $17 a day for parking. Horrible. Do not do the smart parking or make the wrong turn like I did. There is parking there for around $11 a day.
