  • STAY FAR AWAY! I will be up front and say we did not purchase a vehicle from this dealer but that is because we had such a poor experience. My wife and I saw a vehicle we were interested in on their website so we drove to their location, upon arrival we were informed that they didn't have the vehicle we were looking for (that's okay we understand cars sell). After checking out the rest of their inventory we narrowed it down to two vehicles, test drove both and decided to pursue one of them. We went inside to discuss the vehicle and asked for them to drop the price because compared to average market sales values it was priced about $2K high, they dropped the price by $1500. So far this is a great experience! But here is where it goes downhill, before signing any papers we asked if they'd let us take it to our mechanic and they said sure but they "have their mechanics look over every vehicle they purchase". So we ran it over to our mechanic (4.5 stars on yelp) and paid $115 to have it checked over. When my mechanic walked out with the report he said "to be honest with you I would stay very far away from this vehicle" and explained that he stopped adding up the needed maintenance when he reached $3000. Needless to say, the vehicle had some substantial issues that would cost more than half of the purchase price. When I returned the car to Town & Country Motors and told them I would not be purchasing the car because of the substantial list of fixes it needs they just looked at me dumbfounded. I read to them the report from the maintenance shop and their response was we're sorry, but we got you financed for 3.5%.... REALLY?? I then asked them if they want me to send them the report I PAID for and they said no thank you. WHAT!? (right then and there I committed to writing this review) I'm thinking they'd rather act like they don't know anything is wrong with the vehicle and get it off their hands asap. I feel bad for the poor family that ends up with that vehicle. Our experience with Town & Country is that they were friendly and accommodating, but also very poorly priced and most importantly, dishonest.
