took a looksie today and was happy to see a few hard-to-find items. 1) Daiya vegan cream cheese chive n onion and regular flavor, 2) oven baked Tostitos scoops (lower cal, fat, and salt than regular Tostitos scoops) although i still like the taste of the original ones better 3) Mrs. renfro's salsa in Mexican /Italian aisle - you got flavor options like nacho cheese, green salsa, jalepeno and what I picked up - black bean salsa. It was so freekin-eekin good! (bout $4.99, ya I have expensive taste). No specialty or "gourmet" variety of guac in sight though so Loblaws is still winning on that front.
But there's a nice little corner dedicated to spa and bath products such as loofahs and bath gloves! It's near the vitamin aisle.
There's also some wonderful kitchen gadgets like a modern handheld lemon juicer, tomato slicer and even a mesh cloth for your refrigerator where you can lay your produce (who knew?). You can find those next to the organic salad dressings. Also, if you go past the junk food section near the cold products aisle you can also find beautiful flower arrangements.
BUT, its all expensive as hell!! The Thai chicken soup looked so tempting but wasn't impressed after taste-testing so buyer beware! I d taste test the soup pre purchase and you may find it easier to resist. I also wasnt impressed with the "gourmet coleslaw salad" from the deli. Star added for being open 24 hours.
