| - A+ experience on all fronts. Now that Las Vegas is home, I'm glad we have a realtor for the long-haul!!!
My wife and I moved to Las Vegas from Spain and I began speaking with Kayvoughn while still abroad about buying in Las Vegas. I was thinking of going with an online real estate agent for the commission kickback; however, I did my due diligence by screening several agents. Kayvoughn was active in the Las Vegas core neighborhoods we were looking at and so I thought I would give him a call.
From our first contact, Kayvoughn was truly exceptional. Here are the things I appreciated most:
1. He's got the right combination of business sense and interpersonal skills. He acted more as a consultant and adviser rather than just trying to get a deal done. He worked very diligently to understand both my wife and my needs (even when we weren't sure of what they were). He doesn't treat you like you're an idiot. All of these things make him trustworthy and credible.
2. He's a step ahead of the other realtors. This is just my opinion, but in a crazy real estate market like Las Vegas, you need a realtor who is smart and knows how to work the angles if you want to win. I would feel much more confident putting in an offer with Kayvoughn on our side than if he was a competing bid.
3. He knows the value of the long-term relationship. We will absolutely use Kayvoughn when we go to sell our home in the future and buy our next place. This first experience was extremely positive on all fronts.
4. He knows Las Vegas. Contractors, rentals, developers, builders, mortgage brokers, furniture, renovations, design... you name it, if we had a question he had an answer. If we found something good he knew something better.
I could not have been happier with my buying experience in Las Vegas... and there are a lot of horror stories in this market. My wife and I got the first house we went after and are in love with it
