| - We travel to Cleveland often with a family member who is seen at Cleveland Clinic. We have stayed in a number of different hotels, both on and off campus. After staying at the Intercontinental Suites, we'll never stay anywhere else.
The hotel is quite flexible should you need to extend your stay. Priority club members are allowed a 2 pm checkout.
The rooms are smartly designed, with access to the bathroom from both the bedroom and living area. A fridge, micro and small two-person breakfast bar/desk fit our needs perfectly. Lots of plugs for phone/computer chargers. Keurig coffee maker in room a nice touch as well as a complementary full-sized hair dryer, and a few toiletries.
Internet access allows one device to connect, but the front desk provided a PIN for additional devices.
Drawbacks, valet parking is expensive and can be slow during busy times. Here's a tip. Bypass valet and self-park in the Cleveland Clinic lot down the street for $10/day. Or, purchase a weekly pass from the Clinic Parking office if you're staying longer. Also, laundry is obscenely expensive. $5 to wash, $4 to dry.
The restaurant on site is sufficient. There is rarely a host, so it can be a bit challenging to get seated. And I'm not convinced our sheets in our room were changed every day, but it was ok, since it was just us.
Overall, we were quite pleased with the hotel, staff, and service. We'll be back for future visits.
