  • Tonight I went to Kona Grill with my family for happy hour and dinner. There is a bit of confusion as to whether or not we could sit at the bar on the patio and still be served by the server outside since the windows were close to the bar. We ended up waiting for a considerable amount of time. After talking to a couple of people on the patio I went to the hostess stand and was able to get a table in the lounge for happy hour. The manager came over to our table and was very apologetic. It was crazy busy in there. They could probably use another server or so. The wait for our food was longer than usual and it came at all different times. Our server was great and you could tell she was really hustling. The food tasted great as usual. At the end I was able to use the coupon from yelp and the manager discounted our check because of the confusion at the beginning without me even having to ask. It wasn't a perfect night but they did try to make it right.
