  • My husband and I had a taste for a burger. We were headed over to Tupelo Honey, but saw the "best burger in Charlotte" sign in front and decided to give The Liberty a shot. We walked in, it was quite empty- maybe 3 people inside. There was no one to greet us, so we began to walk to the bar. There were two employees behind the bar, a male and a female. The female employee looked up from what she was doing, and looked back down. I began to ask, "do we seat ourselves?" The male employee looked back our way and then turned back to what he was doing. Needless to say, we made an about-face and walked right out and over to Tupelo. Clearly, the staff believes business is going so well at The Liberty that they can be rude and dismissive to customers. If you're looking for a tasty bite to eat, walk on across to Tupelo Honey. They were friendly, and the food was super good!
