  • Keri photographed our newborn as part of a workshop she gives to teach other photographers how to photograph infants. We had the vantage point of watching her teach and also shoot. From what we could tell, her teaching was great. We saw her interact with the two other photographers talking about how she selects the shots. We were impressed that people fly in from out of town to work with her and to learn her technique. Her handling of our 7 day old child was amazing. Her studio is kept above 80 degrees and had white noise turned on which definitely helps kept our child asleep. She gracefully handled several outfit and background changes, and used great techniques for keeping our child mostly asleep during the two hour session. At one point, she knew the baby wasn't going to calm down without eating, so she brought the baby over to nurse. And of course, the end result, the photographs, were amazing. We're not sure how she was able to set up each shot (even though we watched her do it), but each photograph we've seen so far looks like something you would see in a book, not something that features your child. Keri is amazing. If you have the budget to afford high quality newborn photos, she's the person to hire.
