  • I came here last year and had a great time, so I decided, for the second night of my bachelor party, we'll do something mellow and hang out at the mix lounge since we won't have to pay for a taxi ride (we were staying at THEhotel). My buddy arranged it with the mix lounge front desk that we would get reservation/bottle service and no cover before midnight...sounded perfect since we were all still hurting from going hard the night before. We did some pre-drinking in our rooms and headed down there by 11'ish...only to find out that the elevator is stuck! The cocky guy standing at the front desk asks for our number and said he'll call us if they get it fixed. Calls us 15 minutes later telling us that they won't be opening it up for the rest of the evening.... totally putting a wrench in our plans/wallet since we're gonna have to go some where else to party. Instead of referring us and moving our reservation to rum jungle or one of their affiliates, he basically said sorry and offered his connections to some other clubs some where outside of the hotel...and of course, nothing is free....we said forget it and we went with a different route that night. I know this place is pretty chill, but the way they conducted their business with us, they really should've taken care of us if they knew that we were willing to spend $500+ here!
