| - Cute little place that just opened up a few weeks ago. We decided to come here last minute for a nice dinner night and were greeted with a wait time of about 20 minutes. I can definitely see this place go up to 1-1.5hr wait times after the word gets out on this place, especially on weekend nights. Make a reservation if you could!
If you want to spend a leg and an arm, you should definitely check out Chubby Cattle! It's clean, new and the "restaurant" that everyone is talking about these days. Unfortunately, we had a mixed review about this place. First of all, we didn't order a dish and another server delivered it to our desk and got frustrated when we said it wasn't ours. Our original server came to check on us and he apologized profusely for the mistake. The other server just walked away with attitude and mumbled something in Chinese back to the kitchen. I wasn't uncomfortable with that.
Again, this is a Asian restaurant so I knew I had to expect sometime of stereotypical service, right? After we got our broth, my partner's heater didn't turn on and struggled to heat up for at least 15-20 minutes. No, I'm seriously not exaggerating. I felt so bad because he had to wait for his soup to boil. He couldn't use mines because he didn't like spicy. Poor guy.
For our main dishes, we got the beef and lamb combo for each of us and a bowl of mushrooms to share. We sat across from the conveyer belt too and it was fun to pick and choose bowls to eat. This was awesome since I grabbed a lot of the seafood dishes from here, which were amazing by the way!
Overall, this place was an interesting experience to check out. Aside from the rude interaction with one of the servers, the rest of the staff was super accommodating and friendly. The place was relatively clean too. Unfortunately, I wouldn't really come back here since I felt like the place was a bit overpriced.
