My first review in Pittsburgh! I was very impressed with Nine on Nine, from the ambience to the food to the service...nothing was compromised. We enjoyed the menu style which was a bit different from the typical layout. You could mix and match different items (they were not split up into appetizers, salads/soups, entrees etc), and there is a section called "Shareables". We ordered the lamb chops and brussel sprouts for our starters- fabulous. Filet mignon tournedos for mains, and the white chocolate cheesecake dessert. Our server, Ziggy, was especially helpful and we enjoyed chatting with him! He made our experience all the more pleasant. Overall a delightful meal in a cozy atmosphere, in the heart of downtown. Will be back again!
