I had my wisdom teeth removed Saturday March 19, 2016. It has been five days and i am still experiencing numbness in my lower right chin and lip and very limited to eating and speaking. On March 21 I called the office concerned, inquiring to if I needed to come in for the dentist to take a look. The receptionist told me to schedule an appointment before March 24th because that is when the dentist goes on vacation. I called early Wednesday March 23 to schedule my appointment for the same day which they were able to squeeze me in at 330. At 430 I finally got called into to speak with the assistant who asked what was going on, he the said he would get the dentist to take a look. When the assistant came back in the room he said that I would need to call my dentist at his office because he is not here. I then stated to him why am I here if I cannot see someone to at least tell me what is going on. He said he would bring in the Doctor that is here but he would tell me the same thing. Another lady came out to speak with me and when I asked her why I waited here for an hour to have someone tell me to call my dentist at his other office (which I did not even know he had) she replied back with "for peace of mind" which I then stated I would have been fine with someone telling me over the phone that this is normal or whatever but thought my mouth needed to be here in person... Absolutely horrible service and waste of my time. I have been coming here since I was VERY young and needless to say I will not be coming back to Gentle Dental.
