We had heard great things about Mercato and were very excited to go there for dinner. We started off on the wrong foot with the hostess. She made too much of a deal of us wanting to eat in the covered part of the restaurant away from the outdoor plaza seating. We were just about to walk away when she miraculously found us a table.
Once we were seated, we had a fabulous experience. We worked with Manu. He was charming and was very helpful with drink and entree selections. We started off with the Grilled Octopus. Very tender and complemented nicely with our bread and wine. For our entrees we had the Linguini Futta Di Mari and the Swiss Chard Ravioli. The pasta was very fresh and flavorful.
We finished off our amazing meal with the Torta Al Cocciolato. The piece was huge, but it was so delicious we had not guilt.
