| - My best friend and I lived here for a year and a half and overall, we did not have very good experiences. As soon as we moved in, we already had mold in our showers and our "brand new" carpet was peeling up around the edges. We endured all sorts of adventures, including but not limited to a heating unit that went haywire and kept our apartment at 85 degrees for an entire day, upstairs neighbors who repeatedly had loud sex at 5 in the morning despite our multiple complaints to the office, and the daily struggle to find a place to park that wasn't a mile away from our apartment. (If there ever was an open space, it was half taken up by the bad parking job of the car next to it and therefore useless).
However, our experience really peaked when we moved out and found out that not only were we not going to receive our deposit back, but the complex was charging us 250 extra dollars for "carpet damage". We called to get further explanation on this and received several different stories- first, that there was urine on the carpet (I can confidently assure you my two year old dog never had an accident inside), then that there was pet hair in the carpet and evidently the complex's cleaning service doesn't have access to a vacuum capable of cleaning it. Upon investigating online, it seems we are certainly not the first people to have received surprising and inaccurate charges upon moving out.
The office was largely uncooperative and rude when we spoke with them, so we've decided to turn it over to our attorneys to handle. I would not recommend living here.
I did give the complex one star because the maintenance crew is very nice and polite.
