  • So I will start off with some history...I'm new to Charlotte and finding someone that knows hair color can be daunting; especially when you had someone amazing for many years. I initially found a local salon that I thought I was happy with but over time my brunette hair with blonde highlights turned extremely brassy. I became so unhappy with my hair, debated about going back, but was afraid to spend the money and end up with the same results. I started another long search of combing through Yelp and Google and somehow stumbled upon Danielle. I read through the reviews, scrolled through photos and decided to give her a try. I selected full balayage and a haircut. It was a risk because it is a big expense (and I have to live with the results) but I just had this feeling and was super excited. I was so lucky to find Danielle! She worked her magic on my brassy hair and gave me an awesome haircut! I came in with fairly long hair and while I was open to cutting off an inch or so, I thought I wanted to keep it long. After discussing my hair with Danielle, we agreed it would be best to cut a good amount off in order to get a new, healthy start and help correct the color. I won't lie, I was nervous as she started to cut my hair - a lot was falling off but I kept confidence in the process because we took the time to talk about what I liked and didn't like. Danielle really understands hair. She noticed the thickness and asked when the last time I had bulk taken out and if I wanted to do more...yes! My hair instantly felt lighter and fresher. She even used some techniques I've never seen before. Now on to the color...it came out amazing! It looks healthier and brighter and it's even better than I hoped it to be! I was happy to initially see it but when I got outside and was able to really see it in the light, I was THRILLED! Goodbye brassy, Hello dimension! Spending 3 hours with someone you don't know is a long time, but it was never awkward and never boring. I loved hearing about Danielle's background, education and experience. This girl knows her stuff and it isn't a surprise that I had to wait nearly a month for her, but it was so worth it! I can't wait to go back!
