It was around 5:30 in the evening and we came here for a drink and an appetizer. We weren't sure why all of its neighboring eateries were packed with people waiting and this one was completely empty. We sat down and ordered a beer, wine and a 3 cheese plate that came with truffled honey, cherries and apricot jam. It was only then we found out that their happy hour ended at 5PM, while all of the neighbors run until 7pm.
Again this is Vegas and you have to keep up with the trends and not to mention demand, but for some reason these guys weren't which explained an empty eatery on a Sunday, in the middle of the grand canal shops. Others couldn't accommodate their people waiting. The beer was ice cold and the wine went perfectly with the cheeses ordered. Of the cheeses we selected, the Parmigiano Reggiano was clearly the best one. Our waiter and the rest of the staff we came in contact with were friendly. Its a shame they couldn't serve more customers. Hopefully they'll change that soon.
