I worked with Dr. Fishel when I had some back issues. It was not a happy experience. Too hard to get in contact with him, I waited an hour PAST my appointment time to see the doctor. His first solution was drugs. Been there done that, no help.
Finally, I opted for the shots to see if that would help. He said give it 2 weeks. 10 days later, I was back in pain.
Although the shots not working is not his fault, I thought he would have something else for me. His 2nd solution was some gimmicky electrode thing in planted in my back. I needed some information on it and he would not take the time to inform me. Some nurse came in to explain it to me who had no real idea of how it worked.
I went home to see if I could figure it out on my own. Internet, other doctors, etc. It just did not seem like a good solution.
I called to schedule another appointment to see what other options I had. Again, it was miserable. Just one voice mail after another. No live human being to talk with. I left 3 messages on voice mail and finally, 4 days later I got a call. By then it was too late. I did what I wanted to do in the first place. I went to California.
As far as Doctors go, I would not recommend Dr. Fishell. the aggravation of trying to reach a human being there is not worth it. Nor is the "trial and error" type medicine practice here.
