Good food, slow service
My wife and I had Cherryblossom on our list for a while. Finally stopped in for lunch when we were in the area and noticed the crowd wasn't overflowing. Both parking and seating are tight. And this is obviously a popular spot.
We were seated quickly, but no waiter visited for just over ten minutes. I signaled to the hostess lady and she nodded, saying she would send him over. Finally had our orders in about 15 minutes after being seated-- Champon for me and Udon Sucki for her along with two rolls of sushi and gyoza.
Initial drinks landed soon after ordering and food followed some minutes behind. That's all we saw of our waiter again for a long while. The lack of service really put a damper of the experience since we came in excited to eat here.
The food was only okay by our tastes. The broth was okay, if bland and diluted. The noodles were par for the course. They were very generous on the seafood in the Champon, which was nice. The sushi was good, whereas the gyoza was very light on meat.
We probably expected too much after seeing so many crowds. Would try them again... maybe something from the Korean side of the menu?
