Turnover is absolutely ridiculous. My relative has had more case workers than I can count. No one seems to know what's going on. My relative ended in the hospital with kidney failure (10 day stay), followed by a week psychiatric stay - all because I couldn't get anyone to return my calls. The system tells you to work through your case worker- who takes weeks to return calls (if they do at all). Finally I called 911, and the paramedics were the only ones who took her condition seriously. They literally saved her life. Left to the people at San Tan Clinic, my relative would be dead - the Chandler ER doctor said she wouldn't have survived another day. Maybe they're understaffed. Maybe they just don't care. After all, these are the indigent mentally ill - if they die, it saves the state money. There's no accountability - it's always someone else's fault. Staff is also often snobby, and clearly consider their clients subhuman. They don't bother to hide the attitude at all. I'd say go elsewhere, but people coming here really have no choice.
