Came here based on a recommendation from my friend's barber...they said it was the most authentic shawarma in Vegas. If someone says that, you gotta check a place out!
This place is on the corner near the gas station. All tasty places usually are, aren't they? You step inside a small restaurant, about 5 tables or so and there's an open view into the kitchen. The place seems pretty legit and authentic...I am basing this on the fact that the cooks/servers couldn't really speak English. We tried to ask them some questions about the menu but one guy couldn't really explain and then another server said, "Don't ask him about the menu. What do you want to know?" So then we asked that guy questions but still didn't get answers we understood. lol. They were all super friendly though.
We ordered a chicken shawarma ($9.99) and chicken shawarma plate ($14.99). The shawarma is pretty large...saw them wrapping that bad boy up. The shawarma plate comes with a salad (veggies), pita and hummus. The pita is fluffy and soft.
I would recommend trying this place at least once. Can't say it's the best shawarma since I'm not a shawarma connoisseu, but it was an enjoyable meal.
