  • Renting a car at an airport does not merit high expectations, therefore my 5 star standard is in another league. Mostly, my rating is on convenience and how much time spent at the facility. The lines to rent was short, and the attendance was efficient. Though we are used to a spouse being free as an additional, driver apparently in AZ you pay $12/day. This didn't bother me too much seeing as it is a law, but couldn't help but think this was a gimmick for more revenue. Addition declined. Once in the garage, the attendant told us to pick out own car. Allow ample time from drop off and the shuttle back to the airport. It seems these shuttles drive so slowly, they will go in reverse at any moment to make the ride longer.
