  • I attended Monkland village's yearly festival and immediately zoomed to this food truck due to from previous reviews. Also I'm truly a sucker for pulled pork sandwiches. The price-tag was decent, only $6! So I grabbed one and got some lemonade to go with it.... and disappointed would be an understatement after my first bite. Sure it looked appealing with lots of meat but the taste/sauce was pretty plain to me. It lacked character and emotion... ultimately I felt forced to eat so mediocre and once I ended up halfway into the sandwich... look at that... no more meat... just lots of salad leafs though? I've had a lot of pulled pork in my life and this didn't hold its ground at all. And the lemonade? It was pretty watered down. This was shameful. I consequently helped myself to some homemade lemonade down the street at Ben & Jerry's... which was made completely in front of me. Delicious.... Perhaps a bad day but not a good experience. All in all, a solid 2.
