I ate at Gaucho's for the first time on a date this weekend. We didn't get there until after six, so we waited a while in the line outside, but the food was definitely worth the wait, even considering the cold. The restaurant is BYOB so come prepared with your favorite cerveza. We ordered the Parrilloda Mixta, the Provoletta and the Gaucho Papas. I promise you everything was exceedingly delicious. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The chorizo was perhaps the best I've ever had and the chicken was well seasoned and tasty. Once we ordered, we did not wait long for our food. You order at the counter, collect your plates and sauces and then find a seat. I think we probably waited 10-12 minutes for the food. I must say it's a shame they're closed on Sunday, because as I write this review, I want more Gauchos! Also, they have some really original Pittsburgh art on the walls that is for sale- just an extra touch I thought added to the overall appeal. Great pick John.
