  • Sweet Note is sweet! It's in the Chatime plaza at Commerce Gate right across from Chatime - and is usually very busy (like everything else in that plaza). The store is quite contemporary. They have a nursery/children theme, complete with mini chairs and tables. They also do takeout. They have a variety of very unique dishes including matcha lava cakes, creme brûlée, raindrop cake, and the classics like cheesecake and cupcakes. I got the frozen creme brûlée and tried a bit of the baked Alaska. It was really good! The creme brûlée was brûléed perfectly and had an awesome taste. Beneath the frozen creme was a layer of raspberry coulis which was a nice tart contrast to the sweetness of the dish. The baked Alaska was also pretty good. It's a neat dessert place concept with some really contemporary dishes for fair prices. My only drawback would be the wait time to prepare the dishes, but at least the desserts are made fresh each time. And also the seating is a bit short for me. Otherwise it's solid, and it's definitely one of my go-to spots!
